Aisha jamila Hinds has been an American actor for over 10 years. Her credits have included The Shield as well as True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003, she has shown her range in acting giving outstanding performances in television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7, and Under the Dome. Her first recognition came from her character Anna in 2005's film Assault on Precinct 13. But it was her performance as feminist campaigner Fannie Lou Hamer from the documentary film All the Way that finally earned her acclaim as an actor. Hind was also praised for her role as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's historical show, the drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The show was renewed for the third season by 20th Century Fox Television. Hind finished filming in the last few days for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It is due to be released in mid-2019. Her father Krishnaraj passed away in March of 2017 after a long career as a scientist for the Indian Army. Vrinda, her mother is a housewife. Aditya she is an engineer with the merchant navy and her brother works for her. His brother wrote and produced Dil Ka Rishta, along with his mom. Her family relocated to Mumbai, where she was a student at Arya Vidya Mandir. Following her completion of intermediate courses at Jai Hind College, she was accepted into D.G. Ruparel College, Matunga. She received 90% on her H.S.C. exams. The time she spent in adolescence was filled with studying music and classical dance over the course of five years. Her favorite subject was Zoology. Bachchan took a course in architecture after she won the title of Miss World 1994. This title was a boost to her career in the modeling industry. Her lucrative jobs with PepsiCo Inc. & Vogue magazine and her spokesmodel agreement with L'Oreal Paris were all rewarded in 2003. Her roles were praised, including Iruvar (1997) as well as Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997) and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997), her acting career was off a great starting point. Her New Bollywood was boosted by the fact that both films were a departure from the typical Bollywood format. Bachchan became the Queen of Bollywood by playing Paro the betrayed love of Paro in Devdas, (2002). Devdas was one of Bollywood's biggest successes. It was also the first film to screen at Cannes Film Festival. Chokher Bali (2003) was the next film she starred in that earned her the praise of her peers. It's a thriller inspired by Rabindranath tagore's novel. The same year, she served as the only Indian actress on the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan was featured in Gurinder Chedha's Bride and Prejudice. This ballet and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. Her beauty and her fame was then merged in her first English film. In the months before releasing Provoked: A True Story 2006 in English, she went back to Bollywood to play the lead role on Dhoom: 2 (2006 smash hit). Abhishek Bachchan got married to her in April of 2007. He's an Bollywood superstar and a regular co-star.
