Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor best known for playing in the popular TV show Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. At the age of 18, he began to develop an interest in acting. In his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder, he studied acting. He was also active in film and TV, his roles on the small screen were what earned him recognition. The actor has the ability to portray characters of both the bad and good sides of the legal system. He is able attract the attention of his audience effortlessly. He played the character of the serial killer on his debut television show and then later played an NYPD detective. His small-screen performances were rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. His most attractive facial feature is thought to be his striking blue eyes that are regarded as a signature and have aided in depicting the rough and savage characters with a sense of humour. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
